In the wash...

I love the smell of soap and fabric softener...
the low hum of the dryer...
and
the swishy~ swashy splashing
 of the
washing machine.

One day as a kid...
I was unfortunate
to mixup
which was the washer and which was the dryer.

We
were getting ready for school
when our
DOG
puked on my sisters boots.  *snicker*

Mama told me to go put the dirty boots in the washer.
Whoops!
I put them in the dryer
adding
them to a load of **clean clothes.***
Eww.

My bad.
(At least I didn't add Surf detergent to the dishwasher.)
Good job, Allison!  *smirk*
Messy!

Ah, yes.
Laundry.

Recently after I was married...
I washed a pair of dark socks with a load of white towels.

I don't remember now why I did this
because
these particular socks had turned my new husband's feet
hobbit green.
Not just green, but hobbit green.

So, we had mint green towels, and my husband had mint green socks and underwear
for a bit.
Oh, he was so happy about that....

Lately, I've been doing a pretty good job with our laundry.
(except for putting it up. It's an ongoing problem.)

But

this is a bit of an enigma....

"Wash with like colors."

Really?

Huh.

I have another one, but the last time I wore it,
 my husband said,

"So there's Waldo!"

and then this one...

Brand new sweater.... one wash....now adorned with pills.
what's up with that?

and
I'm pretty sure
this wasn't the shape it was in to begin with.

Tightness!
Maybe I shouldn't have dried it....
phooey.

Also, I have a bit of advice.
Don't let your cat try to jump on your spindly drying rack.

The cat always wins.

So there's Waldo. Funniest thing I read on the internets today.
